5✩. F.T.Barbini has done it again! The Guardian's trail is an excellent follow on from Tijara's Heart! The story jumps on from where it ended and continues on a fast paced rollercoaster of emotions! The themes of growing up, friendship, love and good vs evil are so clear in this book and that makes is so enjoyable to read! I really like certain little Easter eggs linking to the the history of zed and the arneshians. Another thing I really liked was the use of morals and how this was applied to the characters, specifically the brothers, showing how always trying to do the right thing will pay off. Francesca T Barbini was born and raised in Rome, Italy. After years of volunteer work around the world, she completed a MA Honour in Religious Studies at New College, Edinburgh, focusing on the Ancient Near East and the Dead Sea Scrolls.

In 2011, she beganself-publishing her YA SF series Tijaran Tales, subsequently receiving a publication contract by American Oloris Publishing.

In January 2015 she officially started Luna Press Publishing, home of speculative fiction and academia.

Francesca is the Managing Editor of The Sci-fi & Fantasy Network - SFFN - and the Booking Officer of the Tolkien Society.
